Fighting a ear infection naturally

There’s nothing more painful then a earache. Ear infections are common in babies and young children. Adults can and do get ear infections, although it’s not as common. I unfortunately am one of the few who suffers from chronic ear infections. I have tried many different ear ache medication over the years. I try not to consume to much antibiotics because they kill good bacteria in the gut along with the infection. Garlic oil has proven to help me the most. I have tried several different brands and they work great but they can be expensive selling for about $12 for a small bottle. I decided to make my own garlic oil for a fraction of the cost and it’s fresh which makes it more potent. All you need is olive oil and cloves of garlic preferably organic but regular works just as well. Heat the oil just until warm and add minced garlic to the warm oil. It’s very important to not cook the garlic but to warm it just until it releases a fragrance. Take the oil and garlic mixture off the heat and pour it into a small bowl to cool. Once the oil is cooled strain it and put in a dark bottle or a saucer that’s dark and tightly secure it. Garlic oil is most potent for about 30 minutes to an hour after being strained. It will last up to 3 months in the refrigerator. Directions: using a applicator put 2-3 drops into the ear canal and place a cotton ball to keep the oil in. Lay on the opposite side for about 10-15 minutes.

I hope this remedy helps relieve your ear ache. If it isn’t helping after a day or two please see a doctor also if you aren’t sure what kind of ear infection you have see a doctor. Do not put oil in your ear if you perforated your ear drum.
